Speaker.Writer. Author. Advocate.

What will freedom finally be for a young, Black, obviously queer kid in the deep South? Will he finally find peace? On this journey to find validation and purpose, Ian L. Haddock travels a journey of loss and pain starting in the first few years of his life. Decades later, he finds himself dealing with the trauma as an adult while hoping that he can get out of this cycle of dysfunction. Though resilient, there are consistent themes of imposter syndrome and second-guessing built into who he is throughout his life. Sharing in this book the learnings from the lessons of his life, Haddock explores his thoughts and teaches us all how to hope in the community for the betterment of ourselves.

KID. MAN. CHILD.
